Bought an underwater camera this weekend on a lark.  Here are the first few shots of nocturne swimming and the environs.

it gives you info on your posts ( i don’t think it’s 100% accurate, but close enough — i would blame data from the tumblr API rather than the tool…)

late nite baby possum rescue x2 so i let the dogs out to go to the bathroom tonight before bed.  they started barking like crazy, and i went to silence them and see what they were barking at.  a baby possum (aka opossum) had fallen into the pool.  i grabbed a nearby container and managed to save him from drowning.   the poor little possum stood in shock shivering for a while. i was keeping a defensive watch over the guy and had put the dogs inside. i tried to feed it a blackberry because i looked it up on the internet, and they like to eat fruits.  i could hear the mama possum running around in the bushes nearby, and i was waiting for her to come to the rescue. suddenly, a cat appeared about 2 feet away in full stalking mode. i had to save the possum, so i tossed my water bottle in the direction of the cat.  the cat high tailed it out of there!! mission accomplished — baby possum was saved for the second time tonight :) eventually, the possum recovered from the shock and was able to scamper out of there.
