hot shot so in the Paris hotel, i ordered a pizza from room service. on the tray was the above scene. cool i thought to myself, a complimentary shot, but what is that spoon for, i asked myself.???  Taking the cautious route, i decided to use the spoon to sample the shot.  I brought a bit of the liquid up to taste with the spoon.  i noticed it didn’t smell particularly like alcohol.  What the heck, I thought and consumed the spoonful. Taste - nothing at first, no alcohol burning. I set the spoon down.  Then about 10 seconds later, it kicked in! This was some kind of hot sauce!!! And a serious kind at that!  This seriously far out-hots the crushed red pepper flakes in packets we get over here in the US.  After about 2 liters of water i was back to normal, but i dread if i had taken that shot as a shot!!  Seriously fancy hotel people, are you trying to assault your guests with this or what??  Who serves hot sauce in shot glasses??????? postscript: - I have arrived safely back home, and am trying to catch up on everything! Thanks for the wonderful tumblring everyone!!  Keep it up ;)
